NetInSat is an official Sky Italia distributor for the yachting sector. We handle sales, technical support (such as reactivation) and fault warranty directly: no need to call the Sky call centre or take a faulty decoder to a Sky store. Sky is available in two ways: via satellite and via streaming.
Sky Italia satellite for yachting, received from the Hotbird 13° East position, with decoder, subscription and pairing support handled by NetInSat. Availability depends on your cruising area.
Sky is also available via streaming with Sky Stream, a compact streaming box.
Since 2019 Sky Italia has offered a product dedicated to yachts. It includes all Sky content (football, sport, cinema, news and TV series) plus selected DAZN content, with all Serie A matches, and Amazon Prime Video content, with some Champions League matches. Everything is on 4 dedicated channels, with no additional subscriptions needed.
Sky gives you legal access to most live sport on board, including football, tennis, golf, F1, basketball and rugby.

Official Sky commercial subscriptions, on 6- or 12-month agreements.
The subscription does not renew automatically.
The subscription can be reactivated after a break of 6 months or more, without changing the decoder.
Sales, technical support and fault warranty handled directly by NetInSat, with no Sky call centre or store visits.
Easy integration with Crestron systems.
Your choice of technology: satellite or the Sky Stream streaming box.
The right choice depends on your cruising area, your onboard internet and your budget.

Satellite reception does not depend on the onboard connection, so the picture stays stable even when the internet is slow or data is limited. It requires a satellite TV antenna and a decoder.

Sky Stream, the compact streaming box, runs on the yacht's internet connection, such as Starlink, with an Italian IP address. It is convenient when the connection is fast and stable, but it uses data and depends on the quality of the link.
Both options offer a wide range of channels and content, though availability can differ between the two. Satellite involves antenna and decoder costs; streaming relies on a reliable internet plan.
On a boat we highly recommend satellite: it is the most reliable choice. With a fast, stable connection on board, streaming is a valid alternative. We help you choose the right technology for your vessel.
