5G and 4G SIM data for yachts

Multi-operator 5G and 4G data for vessels

Data SIM bundles for yachts on the Vodafone, TIM and Wind networks, supplied and managed by NetInSat. Being independent, we are not tied to a single operator.

Why add SIMs to a Starlink installation

Starlink is the main link on board, but cellular data SIMs make the connection more stable, continuous and reliable.

Backup when Starlink drops

If the satellite signal weakens or the service is interrupted, the router switches to the SIM and the yacht stays online.

Coverage gaps and data limits

Where Starlink is weak or unavailable, or when the monthly data allowance runs low, a SIM plan with generous data fills the gap.

Low latency near the coast

In port and along the coast, 4G and 5G networks offer fast, low-latency access, especially useful during crossings and when approaching new ports.

Why use SIMs from at least two operators

Fitting SIMs from different operators in the same router adds a further layer of resilience.

Wider coverage

Each operator has different coverage. If one network is weak or unavailable, the router uses the other.

Automatic failover

If one operator's network goes down, the router moves traffic to the other SIM without interrupting the connection.

Load balancing

Compatible routers spread traffic across both SIMs, keeping speeds up when one network is congested.

Better value

You can choose the most cost-effective plan for each cruising area and avoid expensive roaming charges.
